Academic Regalia
Academic Regalia 必须 be worn to participate in the commencement ceremony. Regalia sets 必须 be purchased at the Penn State Berks Bookstore. Contact the bookstore at 610-396-6100.
A blue gown with wide sleeves 和 a blue mortarboard cap with a tassel may be purchased for $57, +税. Extra tassels are also available at $5 each.
For your convenience, personalized commencement announcements can be ordered through the Bookstore. The Bookstore also carries Penn State "thank you" cards 和 diploma frames.
Academic Regalia 和 other clothing guidelines
Due to the formality of this occasion 和 safety concerns, please wear appropriate footwear; flip flops, 木底鞋, very high heels, 和 loose fitting shoes are not recommended.
It is requested that men wear slacks 和 a dress shirt with a tie. For women, slacks with a blouse or a dress is appropriate.
Undergraduate academic regalia is a blue gown with wide sleeves 和 a blue mortarboard cap with a tassel, worn on the right front edge. You will move the tassel to the left edge when directed by the Associate Dean, only after every student has been recognized.
Baccalaureate 和 master's caps 和 gowns differ from each other. Please check your regalia for accuracy 和 quality before the day of the ceremony.
Remember to steam your gown before commencement to remove wrinkles from packaging.
